The Program Coordinator is responsible for the growth of the non-for-profit programs and operations for the organization from foundation, corporate, and individual partners; soliciting/renewing current corporate, foundation, and individual donors; Soliciting/renewing grant applications; conducting foundation, corporate, and individual prospect research/tracking; performing donor outreach and managing the foundation’s database and lead on all event production.
Support the foundation leaders to advance the vision, mission and goals of the foundations.
Coordinate one or more programs for the foundation, including fundraising, budgeting, and community outreach.
Develop and implement the program that align with the organization's mission and support the organization's goals.
Responsible for planning and overseeing special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community, partners and donors/sponsors.
Oversee all foundation messaging, website content and social media communication channels.
Researching, writing and oversight of grant process; management of status reports for existing grant relationships
Writing new and renewal proposals, correspondence, acknowledgements and creating and disseminating progress reports to the foundation leaders, community, partners and donors/sponsors.
Maintaining contact with foundation and corporate representatives through in-person, telephone and written communications
Managing corporate, foundation, and individual campaigns including written proposals, acknowledgement letters, donor briefing reports, and donor progress reports
Working closely with finance team to ensure accurate accounting, timely renewal of grants and donations; gift processing
Managing donor and prospect research for corporate, foundation, and individual prospects
Assisting with the creation of new requests and proposals for prospective corporations and foundations
New pipeline research, development, and execution to further enhance the program’s network and reach
Provide ongoing support and supervision to the program
2-5 years of program development experience for a Non-Profit Organization
Advanced computer and database skills including MS Word, Excel, and social media.
Excellent presentation skills and customer service
Grant writing and solicitation experience preferred but not required
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of program design and development.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Works under general supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
